I’m really enjoying Desmond Dekker today. I knew a couple of the hits, but had no idea they went back as old as they do. They predate me, which I found surprising. By the time I came upon Ska, it must have been in its third revival in the early 80s. If I was young today, I think I would start a Ska band. Find a drummer and a couple of brass kids from the school band. Wear jeans with braces, Doc Martens, and Pork Pies.
